Official MerchandiseThat quote will be forever lingered in my brain, and the funniest thing about it? HE ACTUALLY SIGNED IT! I couldn't get over it! Then we kept going from the front to the back and vice versa. We met Ali and Andrew in the pub (as I needed to pee so badly!) Then they invited us to a bar around the corner! We got drinks and sat beside them. Five minuted later, Dan walks in and my friend Louise cannot bear her excitement! We were absolutely stunned. We only stayed for a few drinks before heading back to our place at the front. We got into the venue and I was at the front, again! Couldn't believe it! The first support band on were Enjoy Destroy. Despite having technical problems, they were AMAZING live. The songs were really upbeat and catchy and got the crowd going for the next installment. Next support band was Shibby, and they were AWESOME! Never seen a support band so good! They did a cover of +44's 'When Your Heart Stops Beating' and Blink 182's 'Rock Show' which sent the crowd MENTAL, all ready for the lads.
The music played, lights dimmed and the screams got louder! We saw them waiting to come down onto the stage and they were excited as what we were! They came down the stairs and got ready, the first song was 'Jessica' which have everyone in the room singing alone like there was no tomorrow! Alex played his violin during which had me in tears! Next song was 'Still Figuring Out' which is one of my faves, so I was so happy they played that. The one thing that I found really amazing is that before they played 'The White One Is Evil', they played the theme song for the movie '28 Days Later' which gave me goosebumps. Words couldn't describe it! They played some crowd favourites such as 'Jacky Jules', 'Lucky Star' and 'Time After Time' but what really got me is they played my favourite Elliot Minor song which is 'Last Call To New York City' (I can honestly say I cried at that too, stunningly done.) 'Parallel Worlds' has the crowd going ape and jumping on each other! It was like a zoo full of Elliot Minor fans! Awesome though, bad aftermath with the bruises and whatnot... The last song that they played was one that I never heard live before, but had been on their MySpace called 'Sometimes You Are Wrong' and it was just the perfect ending to a fabulous set.
They came out afterwards and greeted fans, got pictures and signed tickets. I spoke to Alex most of the night and he offered me some of his cider! It was yummy!
Then it was back off to the castle for another exciting day ahead. :)
